Over the past few months, our troop has tackled several community service projects. We helped serve snow-cones, popcorn and refreshments at a recent Girl Scout Silver Service Project on the common. We helped man a water station during the Gazeebo Road Race. We launched a joint effort by all the scout troops in town to collect food donations for the Grafton Food Bank. We filled school bags with items to send to foster children who are unable to afford them. Finally, we helped set up tables and chairs for a benefit luncheon for the Grafton Historical Society and the Lions Club. The scouts should all be really proud of what they’ve accomplished in this half of the year.
